Jack Coleman, aka JAK, is a cornerstone of Pacific Northwest techno—a DJ/producer, label boss, and event organizer who has helped shape the region's techno landscape for over two decades.

As a DJ, JAK weaves profound dancefloor narratives built on razor-sharp technical skills, an encyclopedic knowledge of techno and electro music, and a deeply honed understanding of dancefloor dynamics. JAK has performed globally, headlining events in Detroit, Tokyo, Osaka, Santiago de Chile,  Minneapolis, LA, San Francisco, Vancouver BC, and frequently in his hometown of Portland. He’s shared the stage with legends like DVS1, DJ Nobu, Richie Hawtin, Claude Young, Zenker Brothers, and Josh Wink.

As JAK, he's released over 125 trax and remixes on quality techno labels like Northern Parallels, Trapez, Illegal Alien and his imprint, SubSensory Recordings. His electro-breakbeat alias, D.Vices, has hit #1 numerous times on Beatport’s electro charts since 2020.

Through SubSensory and the #PDXTechno community, JAK continues to push the underground forward with an ear for quality and a no-nonsense approach.
